47 years ago today, the beloved children’s show, Sesame Street, debuted on PBS, and since then, we haven’t stopped singing classic jingles like “Rubber Ducky,” “Elmo’s Song” or the jaunty opening theme that will forever be stuck in your head. Now, in its 46th season, Sesame Street continues to capture the hearts and imaginations of its viewers, with over 20 international co-productions and an audience that spans 140 countries. That’s a lot of sunny days!
